Some good advice for CNN would be “careful what you wish for”. Unless you’ve been in a cave for the past 6 months, CNN has been feverishly exploiting Twitter, both in coordinated marketing ploys (Ashton Kutcher) and also with the incessant “Follow Me on…” from their talking heads. Well, it would seem that CNN forgot to follow the damn news. As bedlam engulfed Tehran this past weekend, CNN spewed out the usual weekend garbage (celebrity rubbish). And virtually no mention of the Iranian elections - save that there was an election. Anywho, the CNN’s beloved Twitterati called them out on the omission. And it was AMAZING watching CNN launch into damage control yesterday afternoon.
